Uniqsis Gas Addition Module II (GAM II) coil reactors operate as part of a flow chemistry system, where chemists and researchers can use them to diffuse gasses into reactions in controlled amounts. GAM II gas-liquid coil reactors will help produce consistent, stable and reproducible results.

These devices follow the same basic design as the other standard coil mandrels in the Uniqsis product catalog. They are instantly compatible with any FlowSyn flow chemistry system, or along with a standalone coil reactor like the HotCoil™ heating module or the Cold Coil Mk II™ and Polar Bear Plus Flow™ heating and cooling units.

The GAM II product features two sets of tubing — the coil and an inner tube. The inner tube is DuPont AF2400 gas-permeable tubing. The outer coil can be customized to match your requirements.

Options include:

  • 316L stainless steel: Coils made from stainless steel are standard and suitable for a wide range of purposes. This material allows for excellent heat transfer and delivers very good chemical resistance.
  • PTFE outer coils: As an option, you can upgrade to an outer coil made from PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). Thick-walled PTFE outer coils offer excellent chemical resistance and make the flow path visible.
  • Custom options: Other material options are also available for running specific reactions. These include outer coils made from advanced Hastelloy® and combination setups featuring both PTFE and stainless.

In all designs, the DuPont AF2400 tubing acts as the intermediary. The gases and liquids you’re working with will never come into direct contact.

Quick Our Products

In any configuration, you can install up to two GAM II coil reactors in-line to meet the demands of reactions requiring longer residence times.

Additional options include:

  • Stainless steel gas manifolds for better gas management.
  • In-line pressure valving and safety burst valves for more control.
